Raising Solo and The Desmond Center for Community Engagement and Wellness are proud to celebrate five amazing families at this special event!
We’re thrilled to join forces for a special event honoring five incredible families. In partnership with several generous co-sponsoring organizations, we’re coming together for a day filled with joy, love, and community.
This celebration is more than a typical community baby shower. It’s a shared experience designed to uplift, connect, and celebrate. Guests can look forward to delicious food, music, games, a photobooth, helpful resources, and more.
With generous funding from the Newburgh Awesome Foundation, this event is made possible through the collective efforts of our co-sponsors, community partners, and volunteers, all committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of these families.
Each family has been invited to create a registry of up to $250, which will be shared with co-sponsors and the broader community. These registries are about more than just gifts—they’re about meeting real needs and surrounding families with care and compassion.
What truly sets this event apart is the intentional community engagement. Our team, partners, and volunteers will be playing games, sharing stories, building bonds, and celebrating these families together. We hope that each expecting parent leaves the day feeling supported, celebrated, and reminded that they are not alone on this journey.
Registries: All gifts should be received by 10/5

Let’s continue to show up for one another—and make this celebration one to remember.
