Raising Solo and The Desmond Center for Community Engagement and Wellness are proud to celebrate five amazing families at this special event!
In partnership with several generous co-sponsoring organizations who are also supporting these families by purchasing a few items from their registries and sharing valuable resources, we’re coming together for a day filled with joy, love, and community.
This celebration is open to the families and their invited guests, and will feature delicious food, music, games, a photobooth, resources, and more. We are honored to stand with these families and our community partners to make this day unforgettable!

Join us to connect with other families and amazing local organizations who will be sharing valuable resources for our community. Meet the Healthy Kids Program and Raising Solo team, tour the facility, and pick up FREE school supplies and items from our School & Family Drive (until supplies last).

Support Solo Parents & Their Little Ones – Donation Drive Now Through July 5, 2025
We're collecting essential items to help solo parents and their children thrive. Now through July 5, 2025, we’re accepting donations of clothing (newborn to size 6T, adult women and men), as well as everyday necessities like deodorant, toothpaste, feminine products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and more.
For the month of July, our focus is on meeting immediate needs with these specific items. Every donation—big or small—goes directly to families in our community who need a helping hand.
Your generosity brings comfort and support to solo parents working hard to provide for their children. Whether it's a single pack of diapers or a bag of clothes, every contribution matters.
