OUR FIRST FAMILY DRIVE

Our FIRST Family Drive at the Newburgh Free Library was a beautiful success. Over 100 people came through and left with essentials, smiles, and support.

People were LINED UP an hour before we even started. That moment reminded me exactly why Raising Solo exists: The need is real.

We were able to give out:
Soap, deodorant, toothpaste + toothbrushes
Feminine products, lotion, handbags
Clothing for men, women & children
Toys, books, board games
Baby items like wipe warmers & sterilizers

…all thanks to the incredible donations from our community. We restocked tables again and again. Gently used or brand new - everything made a difference.

Huge thank you to the amazing organizations that tabled with us and shared vital resources:

Cornerstone Family Healthcare

POPPI

SUNY Orange and SUNY Orange Plus

Planned Parenthood - Newburgh Health Center

MISN

And big love to:

United Way Dutchess Orange Region for providing wipes, diapers, hygiene essentials, books, and so much more

Hudson Valley Prints for our AMAZING t-shirts

The Bronx Partnership Council for thoughtful hygiene kits, snacks, games and more

To our volunteers and friends, including MidHudson Chocolate Milk and Krystins Sweet Secrets who helped us distribute items - THANK YOU.

You made families feel supported.

You made children smile.

You reminded parents they are never alone - they’re part of a community that shows up.

From the bottom of my heart - thank you.

This is just the beginning.
