WELCOME BABY: A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
We had the joy of hosting Welcome Baby: A Community Baby Celebration a heartwarming celebration for five incredible families preparing to welcome new life into the world. The day was filled with love, laughter, and real connection.. the kind that reminds us what community is all about. We are especially grateful to our co-host, Desmond Center for Community Engagement and Wellness, for your partnership, hospitality, and heart.
From the moment guests arrived, the space was filled with warmth. We ate delicious food, played fun baby-themed games, danced to music from our amazing DJ, and created memories at our lively photo booth. Families received bundles of baby essentials; diapers, wipes, clothes, books, and more — but they also left with something even more meaningful: support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
One of the most touching parts of the day was seeing how deeply the families connected with one another. Parents shared stories, asked questions, and simply enjoyed being in a space where they felt seen, celebrated, and cared for. There were laughs, a few happy tears, and moments that none of us will forget.
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of so many.
