My Parent and Me Day

On April 18, we celebrated our Parent & Me Day, led by Emily Music for Kids. The afternoon began with light snacks and refreshments for both children and parents, while connecting and learning alongside TEAM Newburgh and Affinity by Molina Healthcare.

We enjoyed music, movement, and interactive activities. Children had the opportunity to meet new friends, while parents connected with one another in a meaningful and supportive space.

Each child received a small Easter goodie bag, and each parent received a resource bag, along with diapers for those who needed them. We also hosted raffles throughout the event.

A special thank you to Affinity by Molina Healthcare for sponsoring this event, and to the Newburgh Free Library for providing the space to host it.

We are also deeply grateful to our volunteers for their time, energy, and support in helping the day run smoothly.

We are a village. Let’s continue to show up for one another.

El 18 de abril celebramos nuestro Parent & Me Day, dirigido por Emily Music for Kids. La tarde comenzó con refrigerios ligeros para niños y padres, mientras conectábamos y aprendíamos junto a TEAM Newburgh y Affinity by Molina Healthcare.

Disfrutamos de música, movimiento y actividades interactivas. Los niños tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer nuevos amigos, mientras los padres conectaron entre sí en un espacio significativo y de apoyo.

Cada niño recibió una bolsita de Pascua, y cada padre recibió una bolsa de recursos, además de pañales para quienes los necesitaban. También realizamos rifas durante el evento.
